Reinigungsexperten is a mobile cleaning service based in Zurich, Switzerland, specializing in car interiors, sofas and upholstery, mattresses, and carpets. The team comes directly to the customer’s home or office with professional spray-extraction equipment and eco-friendly products.

The client needed a fast, trustworthy website for the Swiss market that clearly explains the services, shows real results, and makes it as easy as possible to request a quote.

🧩 What I Did

• Custom build — hand-coded, lightweight HTML/CSS/JS site with no CMS overhead
• Bilingual support — German (primary) and English versions with an EN/DE language switcher and hreflang tags
• Conversion-focused layout — Hero, Services, Before & After, Process, About Us, Service Area, FAQ, and Contact sections
• Before & after slider — interactive comparison slider to showcase real cleaning results
• Quote request form — contact form (name, phone, email, postal code, service, message) processed server-side with PHP
• WhatsApp integration — floating WhatsApp button so customers can send photos of the item to be cleaned
• Local SEO — service-area section covering Zurich and surrounding municipalities, plus Open Graph metadata for social sharing
• Performance — optimized WebP images and minimal JavaScript for fast load times
• Responsive design — fully optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop
• Legal pages — Privacy Policy and Impressum as required for Swiss businesses

🧠 What I Learned

This project taught me how to build for a multilingual European market structuring content and hreflang tags properly so each language version is indexed correctly. I also built a before/after comparison slider from scratch and learned to design around local trust signals (fixed pricing, service area, Impressum) that matter to Swiss customers.
